Gülant Candaş was born in 1960. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Economics and Finance in 1982. After working in the family company for a while, he continued his business life at Akbank between 1986-2007. He started to work as general manager in Çiftay İnşaat Taahhüt ve Ticaret A.Ş. in 2007 and continues as the chairman of the board of directors. He is also the vice president of the board of directors of Batıçim Batı Anadolu Çimento Sanayii A.Ş. and Batısöke Söke Çimento Sanayii A.Ş. and the chairman of the board of directors of Batıçim Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., Batıçim Enerji Toptan Satış A.Ş., Batıbeton Sanayi A.Ş., Batıliman Liman İşletmeleri A.Ş. and Ash Plus Yapı Malzemeleri San. Tic. A.Ş.
Ömer Çağdaş Selvi was born in 1977 in Akdağmadeni – Yozgat. He graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law in 2001 and worked at Doğan Holding between 2001-2003, Garanti Bank between 2003-2005, Aksu Savaş Çalışkan Attorney Partnership between 2006-2013 and Bilgiç Attorney Partnership between 2013-2016. He is currently working at Selvi Attorney Partnership and has experience in project finance, acquisition finance, banking law, capital markets, derivative transactions and mergers and acquisitions. He took part in many energy and infrastructure project financing and acquisition financing transactions and represented leading financial institutions and investors. Ömer Çağdaş Selvi is a member of the board of directors of Batıçim Batı Anadolu Çimento Sanayii A.Ş., Batısöke Söke Çimento Sanayii A.Ş., Batıçim Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., Batıçim Enerji Toptan Satış A.Ş., Batıbeton Sanayi A.Ş., Batıliman Liman İşletmeleri A.Ş. and Ash Plus Yapı Malzemeleri San. Tic. A.Ş.
Caner Türkyener was born in 1974. He received the BSc degree (Chemistry) from Middle East Technical University, the BA degree (Business Administration) from Anadolu University.
In 2001, He started as Quality Engineer at Çimsa Cement Kayseri Plant and than worked at various locations (Kayseri, Mersin, Eskişehir, Niğde) in varied roles (R&D Specialist, Production Manager, Plant Manager) until 2014. Followed by, he was appointed as Kayseri-Niğde Region Sales Director, served at commercial side of cement business.
In 2017, promoted as Vice General Manager (resp.for Country Ready Mixed Concrete Production& Sales) and a member of Executive Comittee. 2018 November was the date of flag change among ExCom members, he continued serve as Vice General Manager responsible for whole Technical Operations covering worldwide investments.
Beginning from 2021 January, he continued as Technical Vice General Manager and Executive Board Member at Aşkale Cement until February 2022. In between 2022-2023, he did consultancies to top managers of different industrial companies.
He has started to work as a Member of the Executive Board and Head of the Production Operations Group at the Batı Anadolu Group since April 2023 and is still continuing his duty.
He speaks English very well. He is married and has three children.
Selçuk Uçar was born in 1979. Uçar graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Civil Engineering in 2000 and from the master's degree of the same department in 2003. He started his working life in UK in 2000. In his 23 years of working life, he worked in various positions for Sandoz A.G., MBT, İnterfiks A.Ş. and Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association. Then in 2020, he started to work in Batıçim Batı Anadolu Çimento A.Ş. and currently serves as an Executive Board Member and Group Head of Marketing and RMC in Batı Anadolu Group.
Selçuk Uçar has conducted numerous researches, publications and presentations about cement and related sectors in his working life, and he has been a delegate in many national and international committees, chambers and associations' boards. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Department of Civil Engineering both at Özyeğin University and Bahçeşehir University. He speaks English fluently.
He is married and has two children.
Reşat Bağış Güngör was born in 1978. He graduated from Eastern Mediterranean University with a scholarship in English Business Administration in 2001 and then from Yeditepe University Master's program in 2002. In 2004, he started his professional career at Dışbank A.Ş. as an assistant manager. He continued his professional career in Turkey and Switzerland by working in various domestic and foreign private banks and financial institutions. In 2012, Mr. Güngör led the establishment and coordination of the Finance and Treasury Departments at Sun Tekstil Group of Companies. Mr. Güngör has experience in Financial Management, Treasury Management, Asset Management, Corporate Finance and has provided trainings on Financial Literacy.
